Discredited Interim Chairman re-appointed by Mid Coast LHPA

After going through the process of electing new Directors to the LHPA, it was somewhat reassuring to note that some capable and well qualified Directors were elected.  How tragic then to learn subsequently that the Mid Coast LHPA Board had reappointed John Willey to the Chairmanship.  John Willey, the Interim Chairman of a board that even The Honourable [sic] Ian Macdonald found to have shown "poor judgement".  Did they not care that this man had showed Kim Honan and her ABC radio audience that he was unfit even to be a Director?  Could they not find within their ranks a Director who would be prepared to take responsibility for his/her actions; someone whose truthfulness and competence could be relied on?  Apparently not.  When an organisation allows dead wood to float where there should be cream, public confidence cannot possibly be sustained.
